Message from our
Brother Chaplain
We are excited about our Chapter!  It continues
to grow and we have the best officers.  I'd be
willing to say our Ritual work is among the best in
the State.

We are however, somewhat saddened as many
of our members have not attended meetings in a
very long time.  Come on!  It's only twice a month
and you may even find that you've been missing
out on a lot genuine friendship, love,
conversation, and even food.

I challenge all our members to search their
family and find those young teens between 12
and 19 to join our Rainbow Girls and soon to
start DeMolay Chapter.  What better place to
instill our morals and values on our young people
than in these two Masonic affiliated youth groups.

Our own Sister Anna Porter will be excited to
help you get your young ladies involved as would
Brother Tom Lindow for our young boys.  Sister
Anna's phone is (910) 488-3093 and Brother
Tom's is (910) 424-3837.  Give them a call.

God bless and Keep you safely in His loving
hands.

Chaplain
Greetings from your
Conductress
How time flies.  It seems only a few days ago I
was elected Conductress.  It's election time
again.  I have enjoyed this year so very much.
The station of Conductress is actually my
favorite.  We have had two Initiations this year.  It
was necessary that I miss one of them because
of a family illness.

Let me encourage you to attend some of our
meetings.  We are a good and loving group of
Eastern Star members.  It is my prayer that God
will bless each of you with good health and
prosperity.

With fraternal love,
Jean Sisk
Conductress
Greetings from your
Associate Matron
Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I am honored and humbled to have been elected
as your incoming Worthy Matron for 2009-2010.
I promise to always do my best in every
endeavor our Chapter pursues.  I know that it is
only with the support and hard work of our
members that our Chapter can continue to
prosper.  I am so thankful to all of you for your
love and support this past year.  I would also like
to thank Brother Al Tanzilo for agreeing to go to
the East with me.  I would especially like to thank
Gloria Tanzilo for allowing him to go!  I look
forward to another wonderful, busy and
friend-filled year at Fayetteville Chapter #334.

With much love and appreciation,
Pamela Smith
Associate Matron
We are fast approaching the end of the OES
year - March 31st.  On April 1st I will begin
writing dues cards for the 2009-2010 year.  You
may send your $20 dues without having to
receive a dues reminder note in the mail.  The
cost of stamps has gone out the roof and any
money we can save from that expense will help.

Message
Hi Sisters and Brothers,

It was a little quiet in the Chapter after
Christmas.  You know what they say, "quiet
before the storm."  The storm is back.  We have
several events coming up that will keep us busy
in the kitchen.  We met twice to make Peanut
Brittle and had a lot of fun.

I have enjoyed being Associate Conductress
this year and I'm studying the Ritual for my year
as Conductress.  All the past Conductress' have
done such an excellent job that I only hope that I
can do as good and make the Chapter proud.

Being Chairwoman of Ways and Means this
year was at times a lot of work, yet rewarding.  I
learned a great deal on how to feed a large
crowd.  Speaking of feeding a large crowd, we'll
be serving lunch to our members and visitors
immediately following the Vision Quest
presentation on Saturday, February 28th.  I hope
to see you there.

"And do not forget to do good and to share with
others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
Hebrews 13:16

Star Love,
Pam Lindow
Associate Conductress
Leadership
If your gift is to encourage others, do it!  If you
have money, share it generously.  If God has
given you leadership ability, take the
responsibility seriously.  And if you have a gift
for sowing kindness to others, do it gladly.
- Romans 12:8  NLT
