Fayetteville #334 Provides Food & Fun At Car Show
The threat of rain May 22, 2010 could not dampen the spirits of the members of Fayetteville
Chapter #334 Order of the Eastern Star as they set up for a joint Car Show venture with members
of John Huske Anderson Lodge.
As the clouds drifted away and the sun began to shine, the inaugural Car Show turned into a day
of good food, good fun, fellowship and friendship for the community, Masons and Eastern Star
members.
The members of Fayetteville Chapter #334 provided the food for the event, grilling up hot dogs,
hamburgers, and pork barbeque. Assisting with the service project were members of Spring Lake
Assembly #62 Rainbow Girls.  The chapter also sponsored a bake sale booth, a cake walk, a
jumpy house, and face painting, with most of the proceeds being raised for the Wounded
Warriors Association.
Sister Sharon Covington and the car show committee members John and Linda Masson, Gloria
and Al Tanzilo, Fayetteville Chapter #334 members, and many other OES Chapter members,
worked diligently for months beforehand, along with many members of the JHA lodge to bring
the event to fruition and to make sure good food was on hand for the car show participants.
Because of the success of the event, plans are already being made to co-host the event again next
year.
Please make plans to attend and participate in the event next year as Eric Frazee, Worshipful
Master of JHA lodge, plans to make this an annual event.
